I made a website in dreamweaver, and I just bought my domain name from godaddy.com....how do I go about posting my website online with my domain name? How do I link the two and get my website up and running, any help is greatly appreciated because I am confused about the process :/ Please help.

You will need to find some webspace and then point your domains A record at the ip of your webhost.

Godaddy do do webhosting, but ive heard its not good.

Next step is choosing a web host. Once you have found the host you want and ordered a hosting account from them, you will receive login info so you can FTP your website to your host.

If you need additional info how to FTP, etc. your host should be able to provide that support for you.

The next steps:

1. Find a hosting company and order hosting plan with them.
2. When your hosting is activated you should receive a hosting account welcome e-mail with DNS (nameservers) information.
Go to your godaddy control panel and set the nameservers that are stated in your hosting account welcome e-mail ( please check the following information on setting the nameservers with godaddy: http://help.godaddy.com/article/664 ).
That way you will point your domain name to your hosting account.
3. Once DNS are propagated ( allow 12-24 hours for DNS propagation ) contents of your hosting account should be accessible with your domain name.

Please note that you should be able to upload files of your site to your hosting account after step 1 to have your site up and running once DNS are propagated.

I can't believe people really get suck at this part. Not trying to sound mean or anything, but I've learned that spending 10 minutes looking up my question on google works 99% of the time. If you ran into a problem, chances are very high that someone already has as well. This is what I've learned from my experience. Hope it helps.
