I've been working on this site for a client that I've been creating in Dreamweaver CS4. It works just fine on my computer on any browser and in the DW live view screen. When I upload the page whatever browser I am using at the time (tried a few) tries to download the HTML file instead of displaying the page. The file extension is .html. I get the same error on 2 different web hosts. I opened the code in Notepad and don't see anything weird in it. On one web host I tried using the cPanel file manager and on the other I used FTP to upload it.

The online version is at http://www.precisionsignsstl.com/clients/gr
When I try to upload the HTML file to these forums I get an error that says invalid file... like maybe something is wrong with it?

I'd like to get this fixed as quickly as possible since I am not making much on this project... hence the table coding.

Looks like a MIME type issue as this seems to indicate:

Quote:
application/x-httpd-php5
The server isn't 'seeing' it as HTML.

I noticed that too, but when you type in http://www.precisionsignsstl.com/clients/gr/index.html it tries to download the HTML file.

And it goes back to how the server is configured, you might want to check with your hosting people.

Yep you're right. I uploaded it to a third host and it works fine! I just had a hard time believing it was a configuration problem on 2 hosts... but it was! So obvious in hindsight! Anyways thank you for your help!
