Please help.
I am a new web designer using Dreamweaver CS3. I designed the site on my MacBook Pro using OSX 10.5.8.

For some reason - the images don't load in IE. Safari/FF/Chrome/Opera - are all perfect. IE displays the dastardly red x in transparent boxes.

I have checked the code - all seems correct.

Can anyone assist me in some troubleshooting?

Any advise is much appreciated as I need to start sending the link to perspective clients ASAP. Most corporate tools are using IE - it must work in that environment.

Usually that happens if the path to the image is incorrect, but since they work everywhere except IE that doesn't seem to be the case. Try using the absolute path to the image

http:// www. domain.com/images/image-name.jpg

instead of the relative

images/image-name.jpg

I'm not sure if that will make a difference, but it's easy enough to try on a couple of images.

It open with my on both firefox and ie without any problem. could be that you are blocking images viewing in ie or something like that

That's another good possibility, and probably the real culprit.

I can't beilive your site. It's completely different with other site.

Well check your IE setting and make sure the Show images option checked.

Just try it on Firefox, if it runs here smoothly than check the setting for Internet Explorer.
