I was wondering how one would go about this in Dreamweaver ?

To be honest I do not have a clue where to start with jquery!

I do not use it, never have used it, not likely to use it. I prefer to write code as I need it.

Okay so I've found jquery

Would someone point me in the right way as to how to configure it with dreamweaver ?

You can download a jquery interface extension for dreamweaver here.

I just thought maybe there would be a tutorial somewhere
all I want to do is create a content slider for my images and it's proving to be so hard ):
