I have a message board and I Im trying to create a simple banner to carry as a signature...it will display as a image but not as a signature. I am going to drop it off here and see which it is here!

Ok this is good. that exactly place in a post will result in a banner, but in the signature it displays as it is above. I put <html><a href="http://66wfan.net/forum.php/"><img src="http://www.66wfan.net/images/styles/...eless/logo.png" width="350" height="100" border="0" alt="66WFAN.Net" title="Join WFAN's Fan site" /></a></html>
also which does not work either

Is the message board configured to allow HTML in signatures?

Typically, HTML in posts and signatures is not allowed due to the security risk involved.

It's not HTML, it's bbcode. Most forums only allow bbcode.

He said he had a message board he was trying to get it to work on so I assumed he needed help with his signature on his message board, not here at webmaster-talk.

Try bbcodes.org Or you can find the WYSIWYG editor button, just click it and the editor will switch.

Security Risks from HTML? I doubt that very much. I could understand PHP or any language that would allow people to interact with the database but I don't think it's disabled to prevent "HTML" security risk.
