Code:
body {
	font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	background-attachment: scroll;
	background-color: #000000;
	background-image: url(/images/bmcgoat2.jpg);
    background-position: 0 0;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-attachment: fixed;
}

check out w3schools as they have an explanation of what the code does
but just used :fixed; on the background picture

although i dont know what your talking about because on the paintball
site it's just a colour

I don't see an image to be fixed as background. Could you place it as back ground first.

How come you dont use Adobe Golive. It will allow you to work with the tables and easily set colors. You can also alter the code if needed.

You should only use tables for tabular content (price list for example or table of data).

You can set colours using CSS (not xml hehe).

Its not that tables arnt trendy, its that they are not standards compliant/symantic.

srry the colors are set in the CSS but the problem is not the home page it is the iframe on the other pages. let me know:
http://www.paintballnamibia.com/about.htm
like if I add more in the about us it's going to scroll and i want it to keep the image static if it scrolls

from looking at your page i couldnt see anything wrong with it
when i looked at your code your using html tags i haven't seen before so maybe try using some css instead of html

if you want a picture as your background and you want it to stay fixed use the tag i showed you before

Code:
background-image: url(/images/bmcgoat2.jpg);
    background-position: 0 0;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-attachment: fixed;
if you use that in the body section of your css you should be alright (obviously you want to change the filepath of the image)
