Hi there, Been a long time since i did any coding so thought id try and polish off some skills, but seem to of forgotten more than i thought, I made the template on photoshop, sliced the images up, added a layer using microsoft expression web so i could add my text, but no matter what i do I am unable to get my text layer to align with the images/background, on my main pc the text is off centre to the left, on my laptop, the right, on a friends, to the right also, it seems to change depending on the users screen resolution. Any help will be greatly appreciated, Link to problem ; http://www.random-servers.co.uk/sg/Home.html Problem Code ; <div id="layer1" style="position: absolute; width: 789px; height: 544px; z-index: 1; left: 214px; top: 333px; right: 214px; bottom: 333px;" align="center" nowrap="nowrap">

Your DIV has an "absolute" positioning. I would recommend you recreate the website without the absolute positioning.

But, if you wanna do a quick fix, make sure the div is aligned with the correct left: ##; value and ignore the right value, and also make sure the width of the div where the text is located matches that width of the background of the background.

I'm not sure if you understand what i'm trying to say. I would definitively look up the differences between "absolute" and "relative" positioning.
