I have a travel website about a country in South America and I was thinking about integrating travel blogs into it. Such as where people can create a username & password and keep coming back to blog about their travels in that particular country. Does anyone have a suggestion on a good way about integrating this and setting this up on a website?

Did you check out Wordpress? (uploading it to your server and link to it from your website)

I've been wanting to add a blog to my website, and while I can find techniques on how to create a blog on its own, I can't find anything on how to make it a part of my website. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

You can install Wordpress in a sub-folder of your website. Then, your regular site isn't affected by how WP assembles pages and blog posts, etc.

If you want it to be "incorporated" into your theme(eg: same look and feel) then you need to learn a bit about how themes work for WP. Basically you will be using your html and css but inserting a "loop" into your content area instead of hard-coding the content. This "loop" is php coding where WP gets information from the database and displays it on the screen dynamically.

There is going to be a learning curve, so be prepared.

if you have problem in installing Wordpress in your hosting,
start a blog in blogger platform and redirect the url into your sub-domain,
like blog.yourdomain.com

Try wordpress.. its easy to integrate with your blog and it is opensource,
you can customise it as you like. hundreds of plugins and themes are available for it.
so you can use which ever you want.

The others are right that Wordpress is your best bet.

However, if you want to allow your visitors to create their own blogs, you'll need to set up something called a Wordpress "network" or "multi-site." You can find instructions on how to do that here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

Hope this helps.

Wordpress is definitely the best option. Maybe also take a look at Drupal, which is specifically built for multiple user contributions.
