Scrolling horizontal with mouse

Hey there, sorry in case this was posted before, i couldn't find anything that could help me. So my desire is: Having a website, in which it's content can be scrolled through horizontally, using the mouse. By that i don't mean clicking any arrows, or holding the scroll bar and drag it left or right. I want the page to move with the mouse. So if i start moving my mouse to the right screen side, the screen scrolls with it. I don't have any examples unfortunatly, because i couldn't find a single website using this method. Now my question: Is this solely possible with Flash, or could i use jScript and HTML as well for it. If it's not too much, maybe someone could explain to me how i'd have to do it. either way. Lots of thanks in advance. phil

I would stay away from all flash, but is likely do-able with some javascript.
There are some possibilities - http://www.spritely.net/

You are probably more likely to confuse users.

If they are using a "wheel mouse" horizontal scrolling is done by "tilting" the wheel

MooTools is too bloated for those easy stuff.

I would check out jQuery/jQuery TOOLS and jQuery UI.

There are plenty of tutorials/scripts out there. Google will help you.
