Hi everyone,

I tried to make the web using CSS and HTML and I've made in the LCD monitor with a resolution of 1280 by 1024,
good results,
but when I test my website on my friend's computer, the result is not good.
My friend uses a computer with a crt monitor, with resolution of 1024 x 768
whether the resolution of the monitor can affect the size of the web?
And what function this taqs <!!------!!>
And what does "meta name" "meta content" "meta name keywords"?

Someone please help me

thank you very much!

Assuming you mean webPAGE.
Obviously it can.

it's considered good practice at the moment to design your pages to a width of 960px. This will give you compatibility with the vast majority of current setups.

The other alternative, which is far more complicated is to make your pages fluid - this way they change size dependent on the size of the browser window.

Here are some resources to look at:

Yeah monitor resolution really affect. Better to set your wrapper not more that 1000 in width and you page must be in a center state just like this

#wrapper {
width: 1000px;
margin: 0 auto;
padding: 0px;
}

wrapper = the container or your page.
