In my own experience,I think you can set this in your hosting control panel.This is very easily operate and convenient.

Hello jim,

The 301 redirect has nothing to do with Dreamweaver, which is a client side tool.
On Apache you will use the .htaccess file with the redirect directive or mod_rewrite with the flags [R,301] after the RewriteRule directive.
