Our matser page combines head, left, right, foot and center. Recently, we added one image with link in head. The head shows fine, but each page show the image with square border. I have change the image from jpg to gif, but that doesn't make any different. You can see the head from this link:http://chicagotech.net/ads/gfihead.htm
the example of individual page can be seen here: http://chicagotech.net/wineventid.htm

If I remove teh link from the image, both head page and indivvidual page look fine. What could bethe problem and how to fix it?

You seem to have already fixed it in the test page, by actually defining "style17" -- add that bit to the head of your pages and you're away. The border is drawn by default when you make an image a link. jpg or gif is irrelevant.

Hello, thank you for the help. However, where and how to add the "style17"? I also copy the gfihead.htm source code here for the reference.

HTML Code:

Put it in the head of the actual pages, just the way you've done in the test page.

Adding "style17" works. However, how do you add "style17" to all pages instead of addin git one by one?

Use an external stylesheet.

Have you tried seeing if it makes any difference with regards to Chrome, Firefox, or IE6?
