Hey guys i used to mess around doing simple sites but haven't messed with it for a few years and I about forgot everything.. Now what I'm trying to do here is make my content box stretch as more content is added but when I do it now it breaks my page.. Can anyone direct me to how to fix this problem.. here is what I mean.
http://img687.imageshack.us/i/fixprob.jpg/

I need to do this without making my box a scroll bar box as I want it to just stretch down my page. My background where content should stretch is a solid color and my sides are all even as well so it should flow fine I just don't remember how to do this.

Here is part of the code where the content box is..
<td colspan="11" rowspan="4" background="images/mainsliced_22.jpg" width="674" height="168">
</td>

Now if you need more info on what I mean feel free to ask. Thanks in advance.

Well, we either need a link to the problem site, or we need to see ALL the code.

Since you've been away from this kind of thing for some time, I would suggest you brush up on how to build sites using CSS and no tables for layout, you'll be glad you did.

Do not use tables to do the website layout.

Tables are for tabular data, CSS is for the layout!

Alright guys appreciate the help but I actually fixed that problem.. my two side images of the content box I just needed to change to 100% height instead of px and it stretches fine now.. but I have this page I need that I cannot get into the box for some reason it wants to stay at the left side out of the box.. I got it to the correct width at 674px it just won't go where I want it. I'll post the full code.. and I put Start and End in the coding where the content for the page should be in my table data just to make it easier for you to see. Thanks a lot

Two images bottom on is just further down the page. http://img696.imageshack.us/i/prevvi.jpg/

I have to split the code to fit on the forum.

Code: code.txt

code2.txt

There is something weird when it comes to webpage design. It might seem great on one browser but it might look defected or not similar to that of the browser that you got a perfect website. What I would advise you to do is that, try testing out your outcomes with different browsers, preferably the few main ones, for example, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. These would be those that can help you out, and remember to get the latest stable version.
