In My webmaster tools, under HTML suggestions
I have this........

Pages with non-informative title tags

Home____________________ /


Every time I get crawled, I get this message about my home (Index) page

I have my title tag for that page written with good content

Anything else I could look at?

I was thinking they were telling me the page discription was informative
So Its not that....Is iT the file name of the page that I have to change?

I have page properties open............. Under page title It says Home<---------Is that what I have to change?

Ok I see where to change the page title

Now the big question, what do I change It to?
Should It be somthing like "Home of my company name" ??

It still shows up on the address bar as Index, I take It that It will take some time for It to be changed?

Until will remain at "Home" for Google until the page is reindexed

index.html in the address is a different issue, to remove the "index.html" just remove it from the internal links, just use
HTML Code:
<a href="/" ...>
instead.

Using your company name as the first thing in a Title tag is not a good practice. The first 70 characters are what will show up in search results, so those 70 chars should say WHAT your site/business is about.. and use your chosen keywords in your title.

I put my company name at the end, And used about 50 characters total

Well there is also a site description tag which is displayed in search results. So company name may stay on it's place...

Yes I know that now, That's what got me confused

I have all the titles changed now, I will be waiting for those nice hairy spiders to crawl my site now, I bet they give me a gold star for doing such a good job
