Hi,

My brother wanted a small 4 sec sound file of a coughing smoker to play when the page loaded. So I created a .wav file and uploaded it to my site. Then I went to the site on my computer (the computer I created the sound file on, windows Me) and heard the cough fine. Then I went on my Dad's computer (Windows XP) and didn't hear anything.
Can someone tell me if they hear the sound file play?

Also the "cough" file is on the index page if you want a direct link to it. "cough.wav" will play in IE fully (through the audio link only) but it's cut off in Mozilla. Don't know what's causing THAT either (probably just need plugin).

Only thing I can think of is to try a relative path to the wav rather than the complete URL. Not sure it will make any difference.

Either that or your dad doesn't have his media player installed. That could happen as well. Liz

It doesn't play for me either, but the code is identical to some I've used in the past, except for the relative path.
