I have a sidebar floated to the right of my page, and a footer that should spread across the whole of the bottom of the page.

When my main content is short, less than the height of the sidebar, the footer does not spread across the whole page at the bottom but appears next to the sidebar.

Can I force the footer to be at the bottom?
