I am looking for a script that may not exist ... at least for free ...

I am wanting to create a page where people can come and sign up to receive a bunch of health newsletters all at once. I want the form to automatically send the subscription notice to the person in charge of that newsletter.

For instance if someone wants the Boogie Newsletter ... then soandso@soandwho.com will be emailed the subscription information but if that person also signs up for the Wacky World Newsletter then then subscription information would be sent to soandso@soandwho.com and wacky@wackyworld.com.

Make sense? I know there are places out there that actually sell these services but I am wanting to run the script on my own and hopefully not have to pay anything for it.

Any clues?

without a database you will be struggling to run a local PHP mailing list. Check if your host supports or runs a list server on the mail server.

The host allows you to store your mailing lists and such but what I am looking for is a form script that mails the results to different addresses depending on the checked boxes.

without a database to store the registration info you will have to hard code everything into the scripts or config files and once you get past 3 or 4 options it's going to be a lot of "if" statements.

It's not a complex task by any means, but will be very time consuming to write and test every combination of selections a user could make.

If you use the list server you will need to send one message to the list server (which should send a confirm email) and one to the list owner or maybe the list server will do that (most of them should) research your options first before embarking on writing the script.
