My website is www.danielleightley.co.uk and I want to redirect it to www.danielleightley.co.uk/nuke how do you do this without hyper-links?

Use the .htaccess file as its search engine friendly, I believe. Heres some more info on it>> http://www.tech-recipes.com/http_tips123.html

danielle

use the way i already told you in the other thread. only rename index.htm to index.php otherwise it will not be seen as PHP.

PHP Code:
<?php
header
("Location: http://www.danielleightley.co.uk/nuke/");
exit;
?>

ok danielle.
you say php redirect doesn't work, so here is META redirect:

HTML Code:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://www.danielleightley.co.uk/nuke/">
but the best solution in my opinion would be to set your domain to http://www.danielleightley.co.uk/nuke/ directly, or install nuke in the root directory.

not exactly ... that's why i first tried my best with php.

best way in her case would be to move the page she has in the root folder to a backup folder (or delete it) and move the contens from http://www.danielleightley.co.uk/nuke/ to the root folder ...

second best would be setting the domain to that directly ....

IMHO.

You've neglected to find out if the server actually supports PHP. It could be a Windows server? Try ASP/ASP.NET redirect.

<% Response.Redirect("www.danielleightley.co.uk/nuke") %>

Or one of the ways the ways that throws a permenent redirect to the header.... don't know OTTOMH.

try the links in the server ... it supports php since it has some pages and some scripts in php, also has phpnuke installed.
