You need to experiment with browsers to get a result.

Run html under Opera (i have ver.7)
Step 1.
MENU: File
submenu: Parameters of Printing (not Parameters of Printer)
Checkbox: [+] Print Background
and OK

Step 2
MENU: File
submenu: Print preview

if it is what you want then print!

Create a new stylesheet for the document that doesn't have the background on it. Link the style sheet to the document setting the media type to 'print'

minaki - that would print *without* the watermark? or do you mean link the existing one as 'print' and remove the watermark from the *screen* version?

Well, no. I meant exactly what I said, however the origional question is slightly unclear so I might be thinking about something else.
