Please help me, I inherited the upkeep of this site from a guy who used no CSS, and had very odd habits with organization, and sloppy HTML. Anyway, I finally got around to doing a little work on the home page and after uploading cannot view any of my banner ad images in any browser (but can view the few tiny layout type images). The owner of this site is going to be cranky in the AM because her ads are gone. I don't think its gonna be one of those "you named your files wrong thing", but then I am so so tired so maybe.. anyway... here is the site:

travel-travel-travel.com

(The imgs I can't see show up at the end of the code. Yes, in tables, though I am more of a CSS type :lol )

Please help me, I'm desperate(ly sleepy).

Yeah, boss lady wrote me an email to that effect too, that she could see them, and to my sheer delight (and a little irritation over the being up at all hours thing) she finally agreed with me that the logos look bad all scattered around and sized strangely, and to take them off the front page until she gets some nice ones from people who actually pay for the space!

Then I guess my question would more rightly be why can't I see the blasted logos when browsing? As if it matters now.....

Can ad blockers block plain old gifs and jpegs that are just placed right on the page? Really its just a bunch of yucky looking poorly placed pictures, no scripts or anything involved. I did name the div "bannerads" in the style sheet, but ad blockers don't look at that right?

But now it will always be an unsolved mystery because this morning she had me take the whole lot of them out of the page and I couldn't be more happy... and drowsy.

I think Oberon may be on the right path, I was not able to view the images on a couple of my sites on one of my computers because I had my Zone Alarm anti-virus suite setting way to high. You might check your security settings and see if that helps.
