Hello everyone.

After reading these forums a little i thought it a good place to ask you all where would a good place for me to start to learn HTML & PHP.

I've been looking to learn how to create thing's such as my own website and database's with php extra's etc.

Now im totally new to the scene and im looking for a place that has good example's and forums to ask questions in etc, i've read a lot of sites that just dont seem to be much use.

Also is there any sites that have chat rooms where you can go and talk to people who can talk you through steps and stuff?>

Many thanks in advance

zerox3k, I would say that if you are brand new to web authoring and don't know HTML - that is where you should start. Forums are certainly useful for answering specific questions you have or getting you out of a tough spot with a solution you just can't see. But it is not the best vehicle to learn something from scratch. I would recommend you go down to a reputable book store or library and find a recent text, go home, park yourself in front of an editor and start punching in examples and go through the book.

hey, http://www.w3schools.com is a good place to start learning web technologies. Still, doesn't compare to good ol' printed books.

And i owe this to www.davesite.com it tought me all i and any other 'noob' could want to know about html (btw i didn't have a clue about html before i went there) so i would definatly check it out if your a 'noob' (i hate that word its so derogitory).
