I want to put a link up like any link and be able to have a count of how many people go through it. I just want to see how many times somebody clicks on my link.
How can I do this free?

There is a simple script, but I cant remember the name!
Its from that site where every script has a yellow bg, centered and no login, only a password...

I'll take that as a no to server side code then I guess.

Assuming the site in your sig, The server doesn't include PHP in it's header signature so it looks like you won't be tracking links at all.

Ok that's referer tracking.

Your site logs will have that information. These should be available from your hosting. There may even be an analyser installed as well, something like Analog or AWStats. If not then download FunnelWeb and use it offline.

If no logs are available then take a look at Extreme-DM you can have a free account on the home page. It's just a copy and paste javascript to install.

Your sig goes to your site. yes?

you need to know how many visitors you get from them clicking on your sig here. Yes?

This is called a referer and will appear in your site logs. That's the only way you have. There is no tracking on signatures on this site and as you don't control this site you can't do any tracking on it.
