Hi I have read somewhere that is is not good to us frames on your website. the way I have my site set up now it uses frames, they are nested. I have a top one that houses my header image, in the left frame is the navation and the pages load in the right frame. Is there a way of using tables so that you can load the pages on the right hand side like you can with frames. Or does someone have another suggestion I can try to get away from the frames. Thanks

SSI (server side includes) is the way to replace frames if your hosting supports this.

How do I go about this? I looked up SSI and how to use it and most things talk about using it to add counters and dates to your pages. I can't really figure out how to use it to replace frames?

Ok, I figured out how to set up the page so that it looks like it is in frames but how do I set it up so that when I click on the link in the navagation bar it loads in the same page on the right side. I really appreciate your help and your website for getting me as far as I've gotten.

you don't. The click takes you to the page with the navigation included

do I need to add the coding to each one of my pages? meaning do I need to add the Header and navagation bar codes to each one of the pages being linked to?

Yep.
you need to put on the include directive for the included pages onto each page that needs it.
