I have a page i made using html in dreamweaver.
my problem is when i go to my home page i get this ?

how do i make the index page show as: mysite.com ???

change your file extension from index.htm to index.html and see if that works.

if it doesn't, create a file called .htaccess (exactly like this, it's not an extension, it's the name of the file) containing:

DirectoryIndex index.htm

and put it in your root folder

thanks guys,i had to make a .htaccess file.

i got it to work by making it in notepad uploading it to the server,then had to take off the .txt extension.
