I am trying to build my own website and would like to know if any script is available that would open the webpage in fullscreen similar to using the F11 button on Your keyboard and which is not being blocked by pop-up blockers.
There are hundreds of scripts available in the various on-line resources, but there is nothing more annoying than suddenly having your browser occupy your whole screen. For me personally there is no quicker way to make me leave a site than have my browser take over my monitor.
I would agree, I wouldn't reccomend whole screen pop-ups as they are probably the most annoying aspect of surfing the web. Plus, for many people using IE 6 or Mozilla, these pop-ups will be blocked or worse yet, pop-up a blank window. If you want to advertise do it the old fashioned way, put it on the existing screen.
