I have a mp3 set up for auto start..don't worry I also have a stop and play button for the user... they can simply turn it off...
As you know IE has a pop-up blocker.. its preventing the mp3 from playing. Even if I take the song off of auto start , when you press play the popup still prevents the music..
Is there any way I can setup something in a CSS file to prevent this...?
I'm not really sure but i dont think there would be, it wouldnt make sense. then pop up creators would just use that to get around a pop up blocker. I would recommend trying to make your mp3 player in flash if you know any flash, that should work
There is no way I have yet found to disable the pup-up protection that has been incorporated into IE. This even prevents animated JavaScript on a site I have been helping my son put together, and it's a little more than annoying. Mind you, I only ever use IE to check cross-browser compatability - I prefer Firefox any day of the week.
