Hi there,

Have a question relating to e-newsletters.

What is the big secret to getting an basic HTML document – created via Dreamweaver to open up directly in Outlook & Outlook Express preview screens?

Will I need special software for this??

This is a legitimate project, I have a couple of clients that would like to email to their database on a routine schedule.

Our hosting company provides a template but we want to us our own design. I have also found out that if we try to email more that 40 people at a time, we get blacklisted as spam.

The big question is how to get it to display so the users do not have to click on any links to redirect them.

Thanks in advance for any input!!

No secret, just plain HTML. CSS definitions must be either inline or onpage and no Flash or javascript

The other consideration you have is to the MIME content type of the email. If you set this wrong you will only succeed in sending the HTML as text. As I am not sure whether you will be using a server sided or client sided mailing system I can't give you specific code, but you should set your MIME type to: MIME-Version: 1.0 and your content type to Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
