Hi Guys!

I am making a site which is to be viewable on all monitor resolutions but I dont know how to make my pages all appear in the centre of a screen!

This may sound stoopid but heres what I can't figure out...

I am using Dreamweaver 3. When I make a great page using layers which are all on top of eachother, I go to convert it to tables so as to position it in the centre of the screen - follow me so far? BUT it tells me that when layer overlaps occur, you can not convert them to a table - what therefore do I need to do in order to have a centred background image with clickable navigation located on top of it?

I seem to be stuck in my designs because unless none of the layers touch - I cant centre ANYTHING on the page using tables!

THIS IS FREAKING ME OUT and I don't know how to make a page look all neat and centred using Dreamweaver 3! HELP ME OUT PLEASE! WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

I see other pages which are all centred and have all other bits dropped on top of them that are clickable and I cant figure out how to make that happen!

Thanks guys, I appreciate ANY help with this!

You mean like this Centred Layout?

You can see the XHTML and download the CSS Here

Forget using the design view and learn to write code. It's the best way by far.
