Client content management system

Hi,

I've mainly done most of my work in design only, so I need some help with this client.

The client is an association of many different members. Each member would like to have their own page on the association site, which they can log into and add/delete their own content as they see fit.

Any suggestions on software to achieve this. The group is of course tight on money. Their hosting company supports PHP and MySQL if this is relevant. What would the simpliest way for to set this up for them (My coding skills are very limited)?

I handcoded their current site with notepad only, so hopefully I can incorporate this feature into the present code and design.

Thanks in advance.

Sandy

The best way to create this kind of system would be to use PHP and MySQL.
you could create a form, much like the system used on ebay to allow the users to enter their own content. This would require basic PHP knowledge and a MySQL database containing tables for all of the content. If the users require pictures in their content, a basic file/picture upload could also be created in PHP.

As i say this kind of system does not require much PHP knowledge and even less MySQL knowledge so it shouldn't be too hard to do.

I hope i was of some assistance.

What are you thoughts on open source software such as Drupal or Mambo for building a updateable site such as this? Also, can I implement a content management system into an existing static site? Thanks in advance
