Hi guys,

My webserver doesn't support PHP/ASP etc, so I need a way to receive emails from customers. I don't like ordinary mailto links since they attract spambots. I'm searching for a mailform processor which is free and doesn't show my visitors any ads whatsoever, not even a redirect page, like:

"Thanks for the info, you'll be redirecte din 10 seconds..."

Does anyone know where I can find such a formmail processor? All the ones I've found cost money

Hmm, you either need something server side or a third party involved.

Does your webserver support Perl? If so...
http://www.scriptarchive.com/

Otherwise, I'd say...
http://www.bravenet.com

Cheers,
SC

My webserver doesn't support SS scripting languages at all
And I dislike bravenet.
Nevertheless, I've found a formmail processor that is free and has an editable

redirecting page. I've found this code, grabbed from the example page:

Quote:
<form name="formname" method="post" action="http://www.mail-maniac.com/">
<input type="hidden" name="mailto" value="mailto(at)address.com">
<input type="hidden" name="from" value="mailfrom(at)address.com">
<input type="hidden" name="subject" value="Subject line">
<input type="hidden" name="fromname" value="Your name">
<input type="hidden" name="goto" value="http://www.thankyoupage.com">
<input type="text" name="sometextfield"><br />
<input type="text" name="anothertextfield"><br />
<input type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit"><br /><br/>
<a href="http://www.mail-maniac.com" target="_blank"><font size="1" face="Verdana">Mail-Maniac, free HTML email form

processor</font></a>
</form>
Thanks for the push in the right direction, security!

Ok, my concern with that one - the email addresses are in there (from / mailto). I'd try and find something that doesn't include that!

Still, sounds like you're on the right track.

Cheers,
SC

You might want to check out AFormMail. It's quite easy to use.

Another one is FormMail.

Both are free.

Hope this helps,
