Am new on here, and have been reading the many informative code probs on here re dreamweaver, google, etc, and think that you guys and gals actually know what you are talking about.

So here's a interesting one for you to look over, and has a great many minds scratching their heads over - Including mine!!!

On the face of it it's so very very easy to solve, but I have tried and tried to no avail.

The website is running a vBulletin 3.0.7 forum and a clean vBStyles skin.

The problem I am experiencing is within the top header image. In the default sand skin mode it displays properly BUT in the Citrus skin mode with a wider graphic, and you can access this view via the button located in the bottom lefthand corner of the page, it goes widescreen, then falls off the page, yet the graphic is only 719 pix long!!!

For information the site displays perfectly well when viewed using Firefox, and only goes off-screen when viewed by MS Explorer - And telling viewers to use Firefox isn't really a option, even if it is the more advanced browser!

I really don't understand why this is happening.

Any help much appreciated

P

PS If you can solve this one you will have many 1000's of vBulletin forums thanking you!

Thanks ewebinternet for your reply.

Whatever your reply ought to be made available to the webmaster-talk forum.

Though I am new to this forum, and it is my 2nd post on the forum I have much to offer over vBulletin software probs and solutions...

All I am looking for in this instance is why the top graphic is displaying incorrectly, and it's so frustrating!

Hi ewebinternet

How did you do that !!!

Are you sure this works with Microsoft Internet Explorer!!!

I am involved with several bigger players whom will appreciate your input over the code...

What are you looking for in term of fees - You haven't asked, but your skills should be paid for!

If you contact me via MSN I am sure we can agree on something. Also, it works 100% in IE- I have just tested it.

ewebinternet,

What you have apparently solved has been driving many webmasters nuts on the vBulletin site.

I will email you tomorrow in order to chat to you and say thank you...
