i'm trying to make an rss feed, all is working well except an image (the only one in the feed), the code is below.

no image is shown at all - not even the missing image icon browsers put in or the alt text (i think this is xHTML specific tho)

<img src="{{absolute ref}}" alt="whatever" width="100" height="70" />

nb: file type is .xml

anyone see something i'm missing.
