Hi I have made a website to collect information from people based on a schematic overview of a site I work on.

The squares on the page are hyperlinks and the alt text shows a description of what they are although it is self explanatory due to the squares placement on the page.

What i am finding hard to do is to have the ability to make one of the squares flash.

Can anyone tell me if they know how i could do it.

Take your picture and make it into an animated gif with the first frame normal and another frame with the particular block a different color. This will give the illusion of a blinking box.

I know you can export from flash as an animated gif (much simpler and smaller than as swf) but not sure what other programs do it.
