You can put this in the <head> section:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="60">

(Change 60 to the number of seconds between refreshes)

But remember that this will be very annoying for users so do you really want it in there? Is it really that much effort to hit F5?

You could prevent the page from caching in the first place, put this in the head tags:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="0">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Cache-Control" CONTENT="no-cache">

However, I am not sure if this will work with firefox...

Isn't this more about your browser cache rather than adding html code?

I wouldn't worry too much about it - its the same for everyone.

Yes, this is about the cache.

It doesn't matter if it's cached or not, to see new content you're going to need to refresh the page either through the browser or the META tags already given.

Well..it's not hard for me to hit F5 ,i'm just afraid when my reader visit my site and thought there was not new content added.

There must be something wrong. Why everything i visit a game site or any news site, i can see newly added content without refrshing my browser? and my yahoo RSS also show no new content added for my site, even i update 1 days ago?

I'm quite new to this, so pls be patient with me, thanks for all the help.

Try RobSmith's solution, or run the page through ASP or PHP where you can set the cache control.
