Im working on a site for a training organisation (in the uk). I'd like to investigate the possibility of getting an '.ac.uk' url. Can anybody tell me where i can start looking for info on this?

Cheers for feedback

I'm pretty sure .ac.uk domains are reserved for schools, colleges and universities and do not extend to commercial training organisations and companies.

If you still think you qualify for one, try contacting Nominet.

ac.uk domains are reserved for colleges and universities. Schools often take on the form of sch.uk

For more information on how to get the domain you want check out

You'll likely only be able to obtain a business domain (.co.uk). But if it's a not for profit group you might consider a .org instead.
