Hi there
Just put up a sales page and quite happy with the outcome accept there is a black line about half an inch wide running down the left hand side of the page which I want to get rid of. Ive used Coffeecup editor to look through the code but I can't find the **** thing.
The reason I haven't put a link to the site is that I've just joined the forum and I don't want this question to be seen as an excuse for a cheap advertising stunt. If someone has any idea's on my dilemma I'll be happy to give them a link so they can go look at the code for themselves.

Thanks.

Michael.

Thanks Praveen
Though if I post it here I can't add the reply, (103,000 characters) so will ad the link after all. http://www.gettingitcheaper.co.uk

Personally, I thought it was here <TD vAlign=top width="5%" bgColor=#000080>&nbsp;</TD>in this line that the problem resided. Guess I'll have to go back to HTML QuickSteps for another 6 months.

Thanks for your help.

Michael.

Well Praveen I'll save you a trip as I was right, it was that line that had the stripe down the side. I used coffeecup editor to extract the line and veiwed it in preview. Worked a treat.

While I'm here could I ask you how do I add a background colour to the sales page and a different colour to the webpage.

Many thanks.

great glad you could sort it out

since you using coffeecup, i think (if my memory is right ) there is a page properties box/panel.

there you can set the page background color.

so basically you will say

<body bgcolor="white">

you can replace the white with other colors of your choice or give a hex value.
