I've been looking around for the information, but im really not sure if im searching for the right phrase.

Im wondering how you place the logo in the URL line (just left of the http://) ???

Its probably something really simple that I just havn't looked for properly, but nontheless I'd like to know :-)

thanks-

1- Have your image ready (any size)
2- Upload to http://www.chami.com/html-kit/services/favicon/
and voilà

Then put that on your server and add the <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favico.ico" > and you're off to the races

I made a 16 by 16 pixel image named favicon.ico(you might have to upload it as a gif image and then use your server to rename it to favicon.ico) and uploaded it to my root folder. I was done. I've seen pages use the link tag but I also did not see the favicon by their url...If you have access to your error logs read them and you'll see that Explorer and Firefox both look in the root folder for the file named favicon.ico everytime a page is loaded
