Alright I have a few problems under my belt. I dont know a lot of about web development; i took some courses in both highschool and college but am not a pro or anything. I uploaded the website so you can all check out the issues, remember its work in progress.

Here is the website

Problems:

1. When you change the resolution of a computer to anything lower than 1280x1024 it looks screwy. Is there an easy way to change that. [Note: I read a post on this forum about putting everything in tables; problem is, the template's css only allows the white space to go down a certain amount... so if there is a way to change the css so that the white goes down or change it in dreamweaver, that would be great.]

2. Another issue, not a big deal is... how do i draw a layer in dreamweaver so that it doesnt screw up its placement when you preview the website. Layers would really help, and without css im a pro with them, but with it i feel limited.

Thanks a lot for your help. I really appreciate it. If there are any other problems, dont be afraid to let me know.

Jason I'm not seeing the resolution problem. The template should work fine all the way down to 800x600 from what I can tell.

BIG EDIT:

I just tried the resolution in internet explorer with different resolutions... its working perfectly.... but in firefox it goes wacky... is there some css or javascript i can input... or some type of cookie to get rid of this problem.

It looks fine in Firefox for me (running FF version 1.5.0.1, WinXP) . Even at 800x600.

I run IE6 at 800x600 as a default site loads fine.

Could this be a caching issue on your computers or ISP?

Slow morning around here so I downloaded Firefox 1.5.

It trashes the site at 800x600 and 1024x768. Anything smaller I would not have been able to read so I did not try higher settings.

So you now have confirmation that it is not just your local problem.

Unless it is the version number of FF I don't have a clue.

The page was broken before I DL the FF flash player. Not sure why it could not use the already installed version.

If you want a "print screen" of what I see to compare to yours, tell me how to get it to you.
