Hello,

I am after a bit of help, i have never had this problem before, and am baffalled as to why its causing a problem. I am currently redesigning a page on my site, and trying to include a gif banner.

when desiging the site in dreamweaver the banner goes onto the page no problems. when i upload the page the banner does not appear, but when i type in the direct url to the banner, it is showing on my web server.

the page is http://www.swiftmediauk.co.uk/int.php
the banner is http://www.swiftmediauk.co.uk/images...ner-design.gif.

Is any body able to help, this is weird. I am currently using the new internet explorer 7 BETA, could this be affecting my ability to view the banner within a web page?

the gif is about the right size for ad-blockers.

Yeh hi,

thanks for both of your replys. I removed the content in the end and just put a static JPG there in the end, which im not really happy about, is there any way around this ad blockers stuff?

I cant really see how they can block ads like this...the internet is full up with adverts, is there a way to resolve this isssue or is it best to stick with JPGS from now on?

thank you for your time!

It's a combination of size and type of images that tend to get blocked if anyone is using an ad-blocker. No idea if IE7 has one or not
