I am doing a website in dreamweaver. I have text in a table. In dreamweaver the text in the cells appears right under each other but when I preview it in my browser there is a lot of extra space inbetween the cells. Does anyone know how I can change this

Dreamweaver often shows websites differently to browsers.

If you don't want any spacing between cells, set your table tag in
code view like this:
