Good morning... I recently started a small business, and being decent, yet not great at web stuff I tried my hand at it...
Im getting a lot of the issues drilled down, but one I cant fix is this.

if you visit http://www.mymomisbecky.com and dont maximize it on the screen, but drag it across 2 monitors, or set resolution above 1024 etc, the right side goes on forever and ever...The frames are visible, and multiple ones pop up, and it just looks like garbage to me.
It affects higher rez's and if you drag the window open further... I dont want to just make my background image that much bigger, because who knows when 2048x whatever becomes the norm..

Any suggestions for me? Thanks guys and gals.

Hi mymomisbecky,

You answered your own question!

The answer IS to make your background images wider.

Yes, This is how we do it.. You should make your backgrtound images at least 2600px wide. This takes care of the problem.

This is standard practice for bg images

To go along with this, if you make your bg image narrow and want it to repeat on the horizontal axis, you should make it long, like 3,000 pixels for the same reason..

Site looks good by the way

One thing to think about. Why did you decide to use frames.

Frames are a barrier to great Search Engine Optimization. It is putting your site behind the eight ball when you use frames. If you want to do well in the search engines, take the site out of frames!

If you asked me to seo your site, it would cost you three times more due to the frames. With your product you may will probably have a great chance to do well in the search engines (and make more money). if you take your site our of frames..

Seriously think about it...!

Do me a favor and run a little experiment with me if you would.

Go into your site and choose a product page like maybe Uncle Sinko.

Now once you are on that page, bookmark it. Now go to a different site. choose your bookmark for that page and where do you end up? Not on the Uncle Sinko Page do you!? You end up on your home page. Beleive me, from much internet testing, a large number of visitors to your site will leave if they bookmark a page they want to remember, and when they go back to that page, its the wrong page. Bye, bye, off tey go and don't buy YOUR product, and you loose money.

Did I mention, Think about taking your site out of Frames?

The site does like good!

I don't think that's "standard practice" anymore... Why make an image 2600px wide when you can just repeat a 350px image and get the same effect with a smaller file size?

Make your body's BG that blue bar with shadow using a 300-400px width, and then just repeat it with:

background-repeat: repeat-x;

in your CSS.
