PLEASE SAVE MY LIFE FROM ROLLOVERS!!

I have this site I am trying to do where at the top you have a navigation bar aligned vertically, and to the left of it (when one of the navigation menu items are rolled over) it will pop up a square box to the left of it that kind of gives you a mild introduction (in text) of what the page will be. (aka- just an image)

My problem is I can't seem to find the code to make this happen. I am using CSS so I am wondering also where I would put such code. I have looked all over, and this is like the number one problem in my web life right now.

Save me.. thanks in advance to anyone who responds..

it's probably the title attribute

<a href="blah" title="This will appear on hover" >

It is actually an important attribute for accessibilty so no need to abuse it.

I can get rollovers to work, I can't get multiple rollovers on one page.

would you like to re-ask the question, this time explaining the question you would like answering.

or are you asking about disjointed rollover like this http://www.candsdesign.co.uk/page-te...ery/layout.asp

YES! EXACTLY.. I'm not sure if you can post links on here.. but this is the site I'm working on.. Link: http://www.monkeytreerecords.com/preview

What I'm trying to do is put links (aligned vertically) starting on the top with home, and adding a few more.

There is negative space in the middle where the idea was to put a rectangular image that would serve as a preview for each link you rolled over. ie- if you rolled over artists, it might show one of the labels artists, contact might show a phone, etc.

Like what you sent me, I want that but to the left of it to change for each link rolled over.

Sorry for confusion.. sometimes I get so confused I'm not even sure how to ask the question. What I'm looking for is a simple dummy explination because I've never done anything like this before.

Thanks a million.. (seriously)

Oh my... 11KB for one rollover!! I see you just saved everything to max quality jpeg from Photoshop? DON'T! Please don't

For example this image: http://www.monkeytreerecords.com/ima...pnav_light.jpg has only 3 different colors, so when saved as 16 colors gif, it's perhaps 300bytes. Just a tip mate
