HI sorry but i've got another problem. my site Http://houseofhalo.co.uk does not fit all screen sizes. I made the layout table 100% but the problem persisted and i got a weird layout so i changed back. Please tell me if there is any way of getting it to fit in all sizes. Note: i designed it in a large resolution.
I would also be very greatful if you tell me how i could improve my site.
Thanks for all your help.

The best thing you can do to get a layout to fit in all sizes is to ensure that, at no point through your layout, the sum total of your images is greater than 780 pixels. 780 pixels is the maximum width for 800x600 resolution.

You can have an image that's 400 pixels wide and one that's 500 pixels wide, but don't have them on the same horizontal plane.

For example...your header is too wide. Shrinkify that.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I wouldn't worry too much about 600x800 resolutions for your site. The the site is targeted at gamers who tend to have higher res displays than your average joe blo. 1024x768 is prolly a reasonable min res.

well 1024x768 is the most common now so design it in 1024x768, also test it in FF and IE (if you use FF all the time definitally test it in IE,my photo gallery works fine in FF, in IE the pics are 5-10 times the size of the screen)

I would go with setting the width to around 750-800px. Alternatively, set the width to 80-90%

Yes - I concur with metho -gammers need higher res and they have better
computers. The ones that do not are use to being behind the times...it won't
bother them either.

One thing not to be fooled about is speed. Gammers have highend boxes but
they still demand speed. They like it fast, they are impatient (and I mean this in
a nice way,) and they wil move on unless thay are 120% sure you have what
they need.

Somthing I do notice is the top of your page. Personally I think it would look
better with a more integrated look. The gradient image below your logo might
look better running at 100% width and eveything above this (imo) should be
encapsultaed in some way. It looks like your logo graphic is floating on the top
of the page. Is there a way to use a background graphic or something so that it
is a little more integrated with the page? - I know you didn't ask about this, I
just thought that it is related to your question..

Seems fine to me. I wouldn't worry about it.
