I am slowly piecing together what I want my website to be. Its slowly changing and morphing as I learn what is possible for me to do and what is out of the question. I'd like to do something like a photo-hosting/photography forum website. I've done abit of research and received some tips thanks to some of the members on this site about the forums, but how difficult is it to set up a photo-hosting setup that requires users to signup and have accounts? I'd like these accounts to tie into the forums (one master account lets you into the forums and manage your photo album/photo collection.

I am a newbie to webpage creation, and no little to no coding, is this out of reach for me? Is there any tutorials or pre-build system that can handle this, (sorta like phpBB or SMS for forums)?

Thanks

Hi ,

I am a bit like you and am a novice designer really.
I have installed coppermine into my site. (not really live yet) and it works ok, is not really linked to my forum page yet..
I have installed geeklog for my forum page. Both were downloadable for free and they have many forum sites and help sites that can help you get them up and running.

http://www.alpineexpeditions.co.nz/g...html/index.php

and
http://www.alpineexpeditions.co.nz/c...g135/index.php

they are not linked and i do not know how to do this.
they are also not live and are only really there as test sites. they need alot of work.
but a couple of hours playing with each got them up and functional.
have fun.?!
