Is there any way to set an Acronym but for the image/text not to be highlighted.
I am making an image gallery and it sort of detracts from the quality with every image having an underline!

If this is not possible are there any alternatives? Any help is greatly appreciated!

An acronym???

do you mean
Code:
<acronym title="Hyper Textual Markup Language">HTML</acronym>
? because that won't create underlines on anything (Unless you have set the CSS to do so)

OR;
are you asking about something else???

Yes; that was what I meant - It creates an underline under the word in FireFox
Although I have just found out after some searching that

Code:
<span title="Hyper Textual Markup Language">HTML</span>
does not create an underline - so the question has been answered; thanks for tryin to help anyway

yes, but the TITLE atribute doesn't work on all browsers!!!

You should use code that is cross-browser compatible

all newer mainstream browsers will show the contents of the title attribute as a popup
