I am creating anchors on a mac using DW.

All the anchors work fine when i use firefox or safari

But with IE , they do not work.

Here are examples of anchors that dont work in IE.
Using IE, Click on the thumbnails and it should anchor to the larger pic below.

If i dont figure this out i am going to get fired....

It seems that Internet explorer needs the anchors to have some content in them. You could put some text in the anchors the same blue colour as the background, or the best way I found was to give each one a non-zero height attribute:

Although i didnt 100% grok what you explained,
I think what you meant was it needs to be next to an image to work?

you are not allowed to use a number only as anchor.

a4 is good
a is good
4 is bad
4a is bad

a letter must be placed first, according to webstandards...
