I am having a problem with getting the images I create in Photoshop and Illustrator to show up in DW. I design my logos in Illustrator, move it to photoshop to save it as a jpeg image so I can open it in DW. A cracked symbol appears where the image is suppose to be. What am I doing wrong?

Hopefully you have a folder on your hard drive where you web site files are kept. Most webmasters store images in a folder called "/images".

Assuming you are doing the same open up File Explorer and copy the images across to the image folder. You may need to update your image tags to suit.

It always pays to set up all the folders you need before setting up a site. If you do this you can create your images as normal but save them to your web sites /images folder, all you then need do is create the html for the image in your page(s).

Or even better, create a local site within dreamweaver. That way you can manage all your files trough the files panel. Saved me a lot of time with fixing paths and stuff like that.

You can find it under Site -> New Site. Take the basic tab and dreamweaver walks you trough all the steps to complete it.

Good Luck !
