Hi, I have a psd that looks fine in photoshop, but when exported as html the border looks all chopped up like this:

Any idea why the layers wont' stay together? I tried locking them and merging, no luck.

does your table has cellpadding or cellspacing? Are your CSS files adding space you don't intend?

With out the HTML it's hard to say what the problem is.

ImageReady exports it's messy HTML as tables. I'd suspect you need to close up the cellspacing and /or cell padding if you insist on using tables.

I see. Let's say I have a template like this:

What is the best way to 1. format the page so that it stays together in Firefox/IE and 2. how can I update the text on the page without editing it in photoshop and exporting as an optimized gif? Thanks

Use CSS whenever possible. Just save your graphics as backgrounds, most of your text should be standard stuff and if it's not just specify the generic type so it's close to what you want
