Hi!

Can anyone tell me why my website appears as if it was made of frames? It is made entirely out of tables, but if viewed with Firefox, it says it contains frames (page source). It wouldn't be such a problem if search engine spiders indexed frame pages. There is not a single frame in that page, unless, frames and tables were the same thing, which they aren't.
PLEASE HELP!!!

answered already at http://www.webmaster-talk.com/html-f...ease-help.html

but it is in frames !!!!

source of index page

HTML Code:
<html>
  <head>
    <title></title>
    <META NAME="description" CONTENT="">
    <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="">
    <META NAME="revisit-after" content="5 days">
  </head>

  <frameset rows="100%,*" framespacing="0" border="0" frameborder="0">
    <noframes>
      <body bgcolor="" text="">
      <p>This page uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them.</p>
      </body>
    </noframes>
    <frame name="main" src="http://frofi.co.uk/gambleon/" scrolling="auto">
  </frameset>
</html>
I guess your host setup the "forwarding". I'd get them to do it properly.

YEP! I've contacted my host and found out they use forwarding. Unfortunately a real subdomain is more expensive than setting up a new web site, so my work will stay hidden from search engines for some time.
Thank you for your help.

Great forum by the way!

frofi: if you're that worried about search engines, a domain costs $8.95 (www.godaddy.com) and hosting is dirt cheap these days. Why not spend about $20/$30 a year and give it a shot?

Yes, I noticed there is a parked domain with the name Gambleon at godaddy. By now I've realised that online casino portals are impossible to advertise via Google, so I've given up. And if no other relevant site from other domain links to me, it is near to impossible to be listed anywhere close to top 500. Now I am completely rebuilding my sites into something I can promote. Web design is more or less my new hobby, so I'm not too worried about anything.
Thanks for the advice anyway.
