I am sure this is very easy but I have built a few webpages to date but never used forms before. I have created the form using DW and when person hits the submit form I want to reieve an email with the information in it. At the momenty I get a postdata.ATT file send to me.

Any help would be appreciated

The html form function only collects the data. When you press submit/send the information needs to be sent to a program that will parse the information and send it to your email. You can use asp, php, or cgi to do this.

Ask your hosting company what is available. You can do a Google search for a script that using the proper technology, probably either asp or php.

This should get you started..

if your server can use php... i would suggest you use this...
